Friday's Newcomers' Walk, this time through some streets around the Quality Foods area in Courtenay, and through Fairy Lane in Lerwick Forest, where lots of school kids have placed little houses and rocks and just cool things! The group got a bit impatient with me stopping and taking so many photos, but it was just too cute to miss!
Sunday morning coffee time in the next door neighbour's front yard - such a great idea - people from the street just bring over their lawn chairs and coffee, sit socially isolated and chat!
Thursday, Paul asked me to be part of the service recording: Valetta and I sang the Introit for this Sunday's service and I got some photos of the church to post on the website.
Barb and Ken bought a gazebo which they put up on the patio right outside their back door - it's quite awesome - keeps the wasps out while we're eating dinner outside!
Another Friday Newcomers' Walk, this time in Cumberland, through the Coal Creek Historic Park Chinatown, as well as some streets of the town. I didn't realize what an interesting historical area this is - Rob would be fascinated!
