Cruise Day!! Some of us went to Dora & Ron's church for the morning service, which was great fun - no time to go to Moody, since we were planning to be at the pier by 11:30 a.m.
All sixteen of us had donned our bright yellow Jamaica Beach t-shirts that morning, and we made our way to the cruise pier (some of us in the park van, some in their own cars), where we went through the tedious procedure of checking in and waiting to board. Once on board, we went straight to the buffet for lunch - Donna and I both got the drink of the day in red Carnival plastic souvenir glasses (I know, tacky, but oh well . . . ) and then headed to our staterooms to unpack. We toured around the ship, checking everything out and admiring the view from the front of the lido deck. Next was dinner, which was awesome - our round table sat Ron & Dora, Connie & Gary, Pam & Mike, Donna and I - and this was the same every dinner for the whole cruise. It was really fun sitting with these guys every night and going over the day's activities, especially when we had been on different shore excursions.
