Thursday - Suddenly cold weather (well, 41 fahrenheit - not cold by Ottawa standards, but still - very windy) - had lunch with Susan and Joan - Susan picked up the brisket special from Mel's Diner and it was deeeelicious! Then I went to the clubhouse and crocheted with a bunch of ladies who meet every week - like going to Judy's in Ottawa! This evening was potluck - lots of great food, as usual - got a few pics of the day!
Notice how the trees are all leaning with the wind

Dozing Daisy
The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas . . .
"And the still of a winter's night, they say, when the wind is in the trees......" Time is a galloping, galloping towards another spring. The photo does really fit the poem.
