On the 17th, we had a sectional rehearsal, so I rented a car for the weekend. On Friday, I drove to Nanaimo to buy some yarn at Michaels, for Jesse & Adrienne and Milly's blankets; then explored a bit of the coast on the way back. I stopped briefly at Fanny Bay, Union Bay, and the ferry terminal at Buckley Bay. After the NICS workshop on Saturday, I drove to Goose Spit - lovely area, reminiscent of Homer Spit on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, but a whole lot smaller and minus all the tourism! On Lazo Rd. I finally saw some deer - they're supposed to be prolific in this area!
On the 18th, we got snow again - stuck around for a few days this time, then was gone!
