October 18th & 19th

Sunday morning at Glebe St.James Church:  today the baby quilts were presented to Nancy, director of St. Mary's House.  A total of 48 quilts were donated! This was also my last Sunday in Ottawa - so Chris and Stephanie included Irene and I (she's off to the Bahamas this week) in the lighting of the Christ candle at the beginning of the service - and Robert noted my departure to the choir earlier.  This was very, very special for me - I really do feel blessed to have so many people wishing me well and saying that they'll miss me!  What a send-off this was!  I don't really think of myself as having an impact on people around me - and it's very moving to get the opposite message!
Monday afternoon was my last craft afternoon at Judy's house - took some pics of the busy, productive hours we spend there!

A plethora of quilts  - and Robert at the organ!
