Monday evening: went on a bus tour of Nashville - hilarious tour guide - ended the evening with two hours of "Honky Tonk time". This means we got free time to hang out in "Honky Tonk City" - an area of Nashville which is just wall to wall bars with live bands playing all kinds of music (well, no, not all kinds - mainly country and rock). Lots of beer and music that just gets into your bones! The first pic is of The Parthenon - a replica of the one in Greece - who knew? Our guide told us that when Greece started to restore the original, they had to come to Nashville for blueprints. Fact or fiction? Don't know - but it sure sounds good! The others are street and bar shots of the honky tonk part of town.
