Today's adventure: the ballet! A friend of Susan's plays in the Houston Symphony Orchestra, and she gave Susan two tickets to the Houston Ballet production of Sleeping Beauty! We left at 11:00 a.m. for the 1:30 performance and were hung up with traffic on Hwy 45 - part of the highway was closed for construction - so we were actually late and had to watch the first part of the show from the Grand Circle (which was quite fortuitous, since it gave us an interesting aerial perspective). At the first (of three) intermission, we moved down to our awesome orchestra seats. The ballet was wonderful - loved it! Next year, I'll babysit Daisy so that Joan can go with Susan.
