June 10th, 11th, 12th, 2017

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan!  Made it on June 10th - the same day Phil and Derrick arrive here!  They came to pick me up at the RV park where I`m parked, with full hookups - that means I can take showers here - yay!!  They picked me up in the car they rented at the airport in Saskatoon - we went for coffee at Starbucks, then drove around a bit and found the seniors residence where Mom and Dad spent their last days - and the church where both their funerals were held.  Derrick is an absolute sweetie - personable, friendly, great sense of humour - pictures of his adorable boys - hope to see them one day!!
Sunday we went to a service in the Anglican Cathedral - and talked to the ministers afterwards about the donation Dad made towards making the downstairs bathroom accessible (Mom was soooo embarrassed when, in those last months of her life, she couldn`t make it downstairs in time).  Of course, they told us that they had used the money for something else - maddening!!
Monday, we went to La Ronge, and visited the golf course where Dad died - actually chatted with the man who saw him collapse, ran over, called an ambulance - but of course it was too late.  We also found the church where Dad was rector, and we`re pretty sure we found the house where they lived, right next to the Parish Hall. I know from pictures Mom sent that they lived in a double wide - and we found a house the right shape, but obviously upgraded!  It was 23 years ago, after all.
