Wed. - left Ottawa and drove 7 hours (with gas stops) to Riviere du Loup, where I parked overnight in a local Walmart. Lots of french language - and sooo many rvs parked here!
Thursday, I drove the rest of the way to Moncton, New Brunswick, to the Casino. Met up with Helen and Rob - so great to see them again! We went to the Casino Surf 'n Turf buffet there - lobster and steak - very, very decadent!
Almost had a trip changer on Friday, when Rob's generator starting acting up -surging up and down! No luck finding a repair place - and on Saturday, Rob was talking about postponing the ferry for a few days in order to get repairs done! Luckily, he went for option #2, which was to buy a portable generator as a
backup - so we were back on track! Whew!
Sunday, we drove to Amherst and went to James Caswell's church - Trinity-St. Stephen's. Everybody remembered James and his family! Lovely service - wonderful music - great chatting with lots of people at coffee time!
