I joined the Newcomers' Club - a social club which introduces women new to the area to points of interest and other people. Pre-Covid, they had all sorts of activities going on; everything came to a halt with the pandemic; they've just restarted the Friday walk - this is the first one, actually.  We met at the Marina and walked to the Filberg Centre and back - about an hour's walk - then sat in our lawn chairs and chatted.  We were in groups of six, appropriately spaced.  I discovered that Margie, Keltie's mom, is part of this group, which is awesome!
