Finally went to check out the Gypsy Joynt - a new restaurant recommended to me by Syndee. It won for best new restaurant in the Galveston's Best competition for 2016. Advertized as a hippy restaurant, it lives up to that reputation with its cool '60s decor - and the food is awesome!
