From those hotsprings, we went to Watson Lake, home of the famous Signpost Forest! On the way, we saw a few bears, bridges, and beautiful scenes! We parked in a lovely spot by the river, amongst trees and grass and no other people - then took the truck into town to visit the Signpost Forest and take in the video presentation at the Northern Lights Planetarium. Spectacular video on the Aurora Borealis and the oceans. The Signpost Forest really is just that! The first sign was posted in 1942 by a lonely soldier - and literally thousands of people have posted since then! Rob, JB, Jan and Helen found a long piece of wood, wrote all our names and home towns on it, and nailed it up amongst all the others - preserved for posterity!!
