My knitting group is currently working on another yarn graffiti (I really like "yarn bombing", but people in the group think that's too violent) for PIE Day - the Sunday after Pi Day, March 14th (also National Affirming Day - Public, Intentional, Explicit). There will be many, many pies after church, as well as a video and talk by Serena, our LGBTQ rep. We've each knitted (or crocheted, in my case) seven bands, 14 inches by 4 inches, one of which has a heart on it. Seven colours in all, for the seven colours of the rainbow - and one heart in each rainbow. Today we spent sewing the rainbows together. What a great group of women!
