Elaine and I drove down to Michael's in Nanaimo to get yarn for a few projects. Lovely drive - we took the main highway there, but took the coastal road back, stopping in Parksville to check out the huge thrift store there (actually, quite a disappointment - two stories, not very inspiring stuff . . . )
Such incredible views of the ocean and the mountains!
We also stopped at the rv park where Elaine and Cliff have spent many summer months in their Class C - beautiful!
Had to stop in to see the Royston Wrecks on the way back, too, of course - they deteriorate more and more each year.

Just the road into Comox - I drive along this road pretty much every day, going to church or grocery shopping, etc.

The Comox Glacier - a few clouds, but piled with snow.

The road to Courtenay - I drive along this road at least four times a week - often stop to take photos of the mountains - and especially the glacier.
