Another walk along the beach - this time in fairly windy weather. For some reason, the sea gulls decided to mass together on the water right at the edge of the beach. Looked really cool! When startled, they would take to the air en masse, reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock's
The Birds.

| Love this walking stick - bought it at Denali, Alaska last summer. It's great for navigating the rocks separating the beach from the higher land. One has to get over this stretch of rocks in order to get to the beach! |
