Sunday church service, followed by lunch at the Chinese restaurant across the street from the church. I talked Brooke (from church and the knitting group) into coming with me to lunch - was hoping to have dim sum, but the choices weren't all that great, so we ordered individual meals - really quite excellent lemon chicken, the remnants of which lasted me for three more meals at home! After lunch, Brooke went home and I went back to the church for the first run-through of our NICS concert with the orchestra. [NICS = North Island Choral Society]
There was time after that for another walk along the beach!
