Okay - I should have known that Sedona would be magnificent, too! A man at the info centre (we had a great conversation - he really wants to have the kind of life that I'm experiencing, but he's young and afraid to leap . . . ) told me that the Grand Canyon is overwhelming as you look down on all those years of history; but the Sedona rocks are a more intimate experience that you are inside. He was right - the Red Rocks are incredible! Wish I had allocated more than a day to spend here! I hiked around the trails and saw cool cacti and just awesome rock formations.
