Chilliwack, BC! Spent 3 hours yesterday in a Chinese restaurant in Cache Creek chatting with an old trucker, who told me that the road from Cache Cr. to Hope is "real" mountain road - complete with sharp turns and ups and downs. He was dead on! Wonderful views, but not a lot of opportunity for photos, except for pullouts. I'm now parked in a Walmart in Chilliwack - will go to Horsheshoe Bay tomorrow, in preparation for the ferry on Sunday. Had hoped to spend a day or two in Vancouver, and maybe see Helen, but those flat tires changed my agenda! Still basically on track, though - plan to get to Jesse's house on Monday!
